Le Fleur du Mal – Baudelaire

Category: Tags: , ,

To accompany In The Eye Of Noir we have a limited number of The Flowers of Evil and Paris Spleen. This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the previously banned poetic works of French Symbolist poet Charles Baudelaire. When the work was originally published both the poet and the publisher were prosecuted under the rule of the Second Empire as ‘an insult to public decency’, consequently, the book could not be legally obtained in France for almost a century.

Published by Dover Thrift Editions in 2010.
